Brief Backstory
Jinko spent his formative years in an orphanage where survival took precedence over love and care. He was alienated from his peers and abused consistently by the staff, ranging from beatings to electrocution.Jinko was unaware of his affliction at this time.When he was 12 years old the tiger-beast broke out of the orphanage, and Jinko unwittingly escaped. Awaking in the slums of Yokohama, he struggled to come to grasps with who he was. That's when he was found by Dazai Osamu, a mafioso and future Port Mafia executive.Jinko then became an un-official member of the Port Mafia. For two years he was under the mentorship of Dazai Osamu, a living often accented by Spartanesque brutality. Despite the horrid treatment Jinko grew to view Dazai as his hero, his guardian, and his protector, attributed largely to the fact that Dazai was one of few who could quell the raging beast inside of Jinko.Now 18 years old, Jinko is a fully-fledged mafioso.
Full Backstory
At the age of 12 Jinko was taken in and trained by Dazai Osamu. Under orders of Mori Ogai, much of the training was aimed towards making Jinko into the "Port Mafia's Greatest Weapon." This mean that he was not so much treated as a child as he was a means of advantage. Despite this Jinko looked favorably upon Dazai, because the man had done what Jinko never could ... he'd saved him.For the first few years Jinko focused on controlling the monster inside of him, but it was an insurmountable beast.At the age of 14, Dazai Osamu disappeared.After Dazai's departure, Jinko was handed over to Nakahara Chuuya. Chuuya, who had been a partner of Dazai and fellow executive, become a role model for Jinko and influenced him greatly through his teenage years. He trained Jinko in the ways of various martial arts, but ultimately prescribed to tactics much less harsh than Dazai's. He was intent on treating Jinko like a kid, not a soldier.Four year pass, and at the age of 18 Jinko is an official mafioso.Jinko often works dirty jobs for the mafia, ranging from escorts and deliveries to assassinations. He will avoid using his ability if at all possible and has vowed to only kill in self-defense, but some nights are best bloody.Ultimately, although his convictions may lie in one hand, duty sits in another and often prevails. At the end of the day, Jinko owes his life to the Port Mafia and will follow orders as obediently as a dog.As the story is now, Jinko is in-training with the Black Lizard, under the direct command of Black Lizard Commander Tachihara Michizou.
